Product display of silly bandz bracelet.

The hottest new craze for kids of all ages across the country is Silly Bandz bracelets. These colorful, fun shaped rubber bands can be collected, traded, and worn. Silly Bandz are die cast silicone bands that will snap back to their original fun shape after they are removed from whatever they happen to be around; wrists, hair, or even as a necklace. They are made from safe, non-toxic silicone that does not pose a threat to your kids. The best part about Silly Bandz is the price. A pack of 24 usually costs about $5. With all the expensive trends and fads in clothes, it is a relief to parents to have a fad that is fun, age appropriate, and affordable.

Kids can even buy the Silly Bandz pack that they want with their own allowances. With the low price they are even fun to trade with friends. It is important to note that while Silly Bandz come in cute shapes and bright colors, they are still rubber bands. If a child is wearing them as a bracelet or necklace, make sure that circulation is not cut off. Wearing rubber bands can be dangerous if there are too many or they are too small. Overall, Silly Bandz are a fun and cute way to be in on the latest trend. They are an accessory that is affordable and appropriate for all families. Get the kids in your life a jump on the newest fad, Silly Bandz!

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the Silly Bandz Rock Bandz.

After another craze we fell into years ago, I was a bit reluctant to buy into the Silly Bandz craze. But…we have 4 kids – two of them the age of kids who trade and collect Silly Bandz. We also have a teen who loves them – she and her friends collect and trade them, and she gives them to our younger kids – which is nice. I thought it would be fun for our youngest to have the glowing Silly Bandz because he’s afraid of the dark. It turned out to be a good thing – he finds his favorites and feels some sense of comfort at night. Our middle schooler trades them like the various cards he traded in elementary school. And our teen who enjoys them has to buy them herself, but gets most of them from friends who want to share them with her. Most of the places that used to carry them where we live can’t get them anymore – they’re too much in demand, but they’ve had the fakes – which aren’t worth it – they break too easily. We lucked out when we were on vacation and found a place that had every imaginable kind available, and we were able to get them for a good price. The other place we bought them, of course, is Amazon – where we were able to get them without paying an inflated price.

I just got these as a gift from a friend and I’m in love! I wish the description would include that three of the shapes are translucent and glittery, while three are pastel and glow in the dark. I would have asked for 2 packs if I knew that! I’m in college and love to trade these with my friends. Although bracelets like these are marketed to the kids, they appeal to a wide audience. Since these bracelets are made of silicone and not rubber, they aren’t suited for a rough touch. Pulling them taut and dragging your hand through it roughly could snap them, but merely stretching the shape out with the fingers on one hand while putting your other arm through works fine. Because of this, I’d recommend that small children are supervised when playing with the bandz, and that emotional investment is kept to a minimum. Also, they are a bit tight on the adult wrist. I’m small, and they fit me perfectly, but my boyfriend’s wrist is too large to wear these comfortably. They’re a lot of fun to play with even if you can’t wear them.
