Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few owner comments from Schylling Princess Pop Up Castle reviews.
I looked at a number of play tents and this is one of the very few that not only have the “pop-up” feature but also have a few rods to help stabilize it once it’s up. It opens up as soon as you take it out of the bag. Then, there are two rods (similar to regular tent poles) that slide into rod pockets under the front door and the same on the opposite panel. This keeps the tent from collapsing while the kids are playing in it. It also comes with two tent stakes so you can anchor it to the ground outside. You do have to practice collapsing it. If you follow the directions, you should be able to get it back into the bag, but usually part of it still sticks out or I stuff it into another slightly larger bag of my own. Still, it’s better than having to leave a playhouse up all the time if you have limited space. Overall this toy was THE big hit for my 4-year-old daughter’s birthday. She played in it with an 8-year-old friend and 19-year-old big sister and it held up well! We are thrilled with it.
Chose this tent for my nearly 3 year old daughter after doing research on many other pop-up tents. Most others had the constant complaint in their reviews that they collapse too easily while the child is in the tent. This one stays up! It’s easy enough to collapse when you want to put it away, but we’ve been too busy playing with it to put it away much yet! Her favorite method of entry is to cannon-ball herself through the door, so if it’s durable to withstand that and not fall down, you know it’s good quality!
