I bought this for my 3-year-old grandson, and had some doubt as to whether or not it would be sturdy enough. First time at bat, he whacked the ball right off the T, and it stayed upright. This was one of his favorite Christmas gifts. The bat was lightweight enough for him to handle easily, and the height was good for an average 3-4 year old. It comes with two balls, but unfortunately, within a week he hit one ball into a sewer and another into a neighbor’s fenced yard where it disappeared forever. I don’t know if they sell replacement balls, but you will probably need some.
I bought this set as a last minute add-on gift for my 3-year old birthday. I knew he would love it, but because the price was so low I was pretty sure we’d end up with a toy that didn’t really end up working that well (or fall apart easily). When we took it out of the box, it was of so much better quality than I had expected! The bat and the ball are both heavy and thick, and the T is functional – It even stands up in our uneven grass. Long story short this is a great price for the money. I know we’ll have lots of Summertime fun with this toy! The one and only complaint I have is that I wish it came with a baseball glove. That was the first thing my son asked when we were opening the present. I would have been willing to pay a little bit more for this product if it had included one.
